Welcome everyone. This is next chapter, Uncensored, the real story on thriving at 60 with absolutely zero filters. I'm not sure what turning 60 meant for you, but for me it meant I was officially at the age where when I walk into a room I can completely justify forgetting why I was there. Seriously. Forgetfulness used to be a flaw, now it's just a biological privilege of the decade.
SpeakerHi, I'm Liana Rowlands. If you looked at my life on paper, you'd see I'm a mother of two grown men, a proud new grandmother with family all the way out in British Columbia, and someone who is technically retired, and by retired, I mean forced into it, but ultimately welcoming it. Even if I'm still trying to navigate through the daily noise in my head of what on earth to do next. So, yes, my boys are grown, the nest is empty, and while I love my family to pieces, this podcast isn't actually about them. It's about us. It's about what happens next. Because they tell you about the hot flashes, but they don't tell you about the incredible wave of freedom on the other side.
SpeakerOn this show, we are diving into the body battles, the 3 a.m. sleep deprivation, life after layoffs, and the glorious reality of entering your zero fucks given era.
